Ford ESP Lease CARE provides first day rental coverage if your vehicle is in for a repair covered by either the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or your selected Lease CARE plan. This is the plan for you if you need the convenience of immediate rental assistance.
You should consider this plan if you:
- Have a leased vehicle
- Like the convenience of picking up a rental car as soon as you drop your car off for repair
- Use the vehicle for business, and can't be without a vehicle
- Will keep your vehicle beyond the New Vehicle Basic Warranty period
- Live long distances from the dealership
Features and benefits:
- Can be purchased as a stand-alone plan or purchased with Ford Maintenance Protection Plan (FMPP)
- When Lease CARE and FMPP are purchased together, Lease Care provides coverage for rental for repairs covered by New Vehicle Limited Warranty only, and FMPP provides scheduled maintenance service recommended in the vehicle's Customer Information Guide (formerly the owner Information Guide) for the time/distance selected. FMPP also includes maintenance of eight critical wear items
- Rental reimbursement: Immediate first-day coverage, up to three days, at up to $35/day
- Deductible: $0
- Transfer Fee: $100
- Service locations: Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealerships in Canada and the United States
- Financing: may be included in finance contract in most cases
- Roadside assistance
- Extended Component Coverage: The 3-year/75,000-km, 4-year/80,000-km and 4-year/100,000-km Lease CARE plans also include Premium CARE component coverage with zero deductible after expiration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty Basic coverage period and until the expiration of the Lease CARE plan.

Coverage begins with the original in-service date and zero kilometres. Coverage expires upon reaching your selected time or distance travelled, whichever occurs first.
